The CUNY Athletic Conference closes out the all-stars for 2011-12 with the announcement of the 2012 Men's & Women's Outdoor Track & Field honors, presented by title sponsor, U.S. Army. In a vote of member coaches, the Men’s Performer of the Year went to distance specialist SERGIO SOTO of the City College of New York, a senior who won multiple events in the Conference Championships. The Women’s Performer of the Year went to KATISHA SIMMONS, a freshman at Medgar Evers that was the top sprinter in CUNYAC, winning the 100 and 200 Meter Dashes, then earning a spot at the NCAA Championships later in the month.
