FLUSHING, N.Y.— The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) announced on Monday that amongst its weekly award winners include three John Jay student-athletes as women's cross country runner Brooke King was named the CUNYAC / U.S. Army women's cross country Rookie of the Week, while men's runner Bassel Ahmad was named the men's cross country Rookie of the Week. And women's soccer player Samantha Guillen was named the CUNYAC / Applebee's women's soccer Athlete of the Week. All awards are for the week ending Sept. 23.
