The 2016 CUNYAC/US Army ROTC Women s Cross Country Championship was held on Sunday, October 30th at Van Cortlandt Park. This year s champions were the Hunter Hawks, their third consecutive championship victory. Tournament MVP went to first place finisher Kaitlin Hicks from John Jay with a time of 24:58.2 almost a full minute ahead of the second place finisher, Hunter s Robin Marshall who finished with a score of 25:57.9. The third place finisher was Hunter s Vera Pertsovskaya, who finished off the podium places with a time of 26:22.0. The race featured 80 of CUNYAC s top female runners.
