ALBANY, N.Y. Junior outside hitter Becca Borquist (Rhinebeck, N.Y./Rhinebeck) of women's volleyball, senior catcher Shayna Burgess (Smithtown, N.Y./Commack) of softball and senior Mike Scher (New York City, N.Y./The Beacon School) of men's cross country, all of whom represent the State University of New York at New Paltz, have been named as SUNY Chancellor's Scholar-Athletes for the 2014-15 academic year, as announced by SUNY System.
