Utica, NY The Empire 8 Conference released it's 2016 outdoor track & field award winners on Thursday afternoon in a release by the conference office. Utica College's coaching staff was named the 2016 Empire 8 Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field Coaching Staff of the Year for the first time in program-history, while freshman thrower Keanu Heedram (Rochester, NY/Rush-Henrietta) was honored as the Empire 8 Rookie of the Year.
