After placing second overall at Saturday's Ron Stonisch Invitational hosted by Vassar College, State University of New York at New Paltz men's cross country senior Mike Scher (New York City, N.Y./The Beacon School) has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Male Cross Country Runner of the Week for the period ending Sept. 7, 2014, as announced Monday by the conference office.
