NEW YORK, N.Y. Freshman Brigitte Leyva (Hyde Park, N.Y.) of the Mount Saint Mary College women's cross country team was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Year, as well as the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week for the week ending Oct. 27, 2013, as announced by the conference office on Monday, for her performance at the 2013 Skyline Conference Championship meet on Sunday. In addition, she was named to the 2013 Skyline Women's Cross Country All-Conference Second Team.
