Christina Melian of the Stony Brook women's track and field team can add another accomplishment to her growing list of feats as a freshman. The Staten Island, N.Y., native took home the national title in the women's 3,000-meter at the U.S. Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Drake University.
