T.J. MOADE NAMED FIGHTING TIGER ATHLETE-OF-THE-WEEK The SUNY Cobleskill Department of Sport & Exercise announced today that freshman T.J. Moade, DeRuyter, N.Y., DeRuyter High School, a member of the men’s outdoor track & field team has been named the department’s Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-Week. The freshman sprinter was the Fighting Tigers’ top performer on Saturday at the 2013 Oneonta State May Meet hosted by Oneonta State at the college’s All-Colleges Track & Field in Oneonta, N.Y.  Moade won the 400-meter dash in an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship qualifying time of 49.88 seconds. Moade will be among Cobleskill’s qualified team members who will next be in action on Thursday May 16 and Friday May 17 at the 2013 ECAC Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Springfield College in Springfield, Mass. beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday and 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
